Description

On the Pearl Harbor & Circle Island Combo Tour – Luxury Edition, travel in style on a fun-filled day to see the top attractions on Oahu. A professional local tour guide will educate and entertain as you ride in air-conditioned comfort from the USS Arizona Memorial to the beaches of the North and South Shores of the island.

A luxury mini coach will pick you up from Waikiki. Enjoy a breakfast bar and chilled bottled water as your guide provides in-depth narration about Pearl Harbor to your small group. Bypass the long ticket lines and immerse yourself in the galleries and exhibits at the World War II Valor in the Pacific Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Watch the 23-minute documentary of the Japanese air attack on Pearl Harbor, including actual footage captured on December 7, 1941.

Luxury Pearl Harbor Tour

A Navy vessel will transport you to the pristine USS Arizona Memorial, constructed directly above the sunken battleship that entombs 1177 crew members. The oil leaking out from the USS Arizona Battleship into the serene water of Pearl Harbor is aptly called the “Black Tears of the Arizona.”   We encourage you to pause and honor those whose names are engraved on the marble Remembrance Wall.

Re-board, rehydrate, and recline your cushioned seat as you are chauffeured toward Wahiawa to visit the Dole Plantation. Aim to be one of the fastest finishers of the world’s largest maze, crafted from Hawaiian plants. Cool off with a delicious pineapple DoleWhip® as you browse through the country store or take a ride on the historic plantation train.

The coastline of the fabled North Shore is known for swells reaching 25 feet in the winter. World-class surfers are often seen at Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay showing off their skills. Feel the fine sand beneath your feet and bask in the Hawaiian sun.

Take advantage of the 360-degree panoramic viewing windows in the mini-coach as you reach the Koolau Mountain Range. As you arrive at the Pali Lookout, your tour guide will share the tale of how King Kamehameha the Great united the Hawaiian kingdom by forcing his enemies over the steep cliffs in the Battle of Nu’uanu. The wind is so strong here that when you lean into it, it feels like the powerful gusts are holding you up.

Makapuu point

The tour continues with the famous Waimanalo, Makapu’u and Sandy Beaches of the South Shore, popular spots for boogie boarders and body surfers. During high tide, ocean water is shot into the air from the Halona Blowhole, a naturally-formed underground lava tube. Along the coast, you’ll catch sight of Chinaman’s Hat and Rabbit Island.

Hanauma Bay’s living coral reef is a haven for tropical fish and other marine animals. In the winter months, a humpback whale may be visible from the shoreline.

Hanauma Bay Visit

Your circle-island tour will wrap up as you cruise the slopes of Diamond Head, the iconic backdrop of Waikiki. Over three thousand hikers visit this National Natural Monument every day.

The Pearl Harbor & Circle Island Tour – Luxury Edition also includes a picnic-style lunch at a secluded scenic location. Make your vacation more enjoyable with first class transportation to and from each destination, live narration from knowledgeable tour guides that will enhance your sightseeing experience, and pre-arranged admission to the “must-do” island attractions. Seating is limited on the mini coach, so we recommend booking your family adventure early.

We did this tour just recently and had Kaps as our guide. He was simply sensational – a real character. He told us wonderful stories about history and folk lore and we were simply amazed at the value for money. All of the sites were excellent and we enjoyed the tour. Kind of like cruise port visits, you got a taste of everything, but not a full portion! Left room for another visit. Pearl Harbor was eductional and moving.

If you want to know about Oahu, this tour is a must. Our guide was Bruce, a retired school teacher and passionate Hawaii aficionado. If we had just seen the sights, the tour would have been good enough, but Bruce’s excellent and amusing commentary made it extra special. We had a fantastic time on this all inclusive tour.

I was only in Honolulu for 2 days and for a short visit this tour is a must. We had plenty of time in Pearl Harbor and the rest of the day traveling around the Island was informative and entertaining. The tour set up was good and the driver/guide made it really good. Her name is Pua and she added herself into the dialogue which added more cultural background.

This tour was totally worth it. Would recommend doing a guided tour rather than driving yourself. You get picked up and dropped off at your hotel plus you learn so much just from the tour guide. My family loved it and our bus driver guide Alex. He was very thorough, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable! Oahu is a beautiful island. This will definitely be a vacation to remember!

This is an all day tour, but perfect to get all the hot spots of Oahu in. Our guide was amazingly knowledgable and funny. Pearl Harbor was humbling and can’t say enough about the spectacular scenery along the way around the Island and it felt like I had seen everything, including a turtle near the blowhole. Fantastic eating. So happy I did this. Have tons of photos to show friends and family.

Went to Hawaii with my girlfriend for her first time, my second. This trip was a great way to see some parts of the island we would not otherwise have gone on. Thie Pearl Harbor memorial is certainly something to experience firsthand. Not living during that time, this center certainly brings you back to that defining moment in US history.

Pearl Harbor was our number one priority to see while visiting the island. This is history.  After so many years, even though I personally didn’t know anyone who died at Pearl Harbor,  how can this experience still be so raw and so moving? On a lighter note, we loved seeing so many of Hawaii’s highlights in one day. We really loved that it was so relaxing being driven around and still be able to capture so much in a day!

Cousin A was our tour guide and he was fantastic.  He had another guide with him and he was very helpful as well.  We learned more about Oahu and Hawaii than on any other previous circle island tour.  We liked Cousin A so much, we even included him in our USS Missouri photo.  His “bad hair day” was just an additional memory to our photo.
