Description

Visit all of the Pearl Harbor Memorials on our most complete tour.

Experience every memorial site and museum Pearl Harbor has to offer by selecting the Pearl Harbor Memorial Tour. With knowledgeable tour guides and all admission fees included, you will have time for reflection and the ability to immerse yourself in history without worrying about the logistics.

Pearl Harbor Visitors Center Flowers

Pearl Harbor Visitors Center

The morning commences at the World War II Valor in the Pacific Pearl Harbor Visitor Center where you can stroll through the galleries and enjoy the interactive exhibits. You will be shown a 23 minute documentary which includes dramatic footage taken on December 7, 1941, setting the tone for your visit to the first memorial.

A Navy vessel will shuttle you to the pristine USS Arizona Memorial, constructed directly above the mid-section of the sunken ship. You will be able to observe the oil that continues to leak from the ship and dissipates at the surface, known as the “Black Tears of the Arizona.” We encourage you to take a private moment at the Remembrance Wall to honor the 1177 lives lost during the surprise attack.

USS Bowfin Submarine

Launched exactly 1 year after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the USS Bowfin was aptly nicknamed the “Pearl Harbor Avenger.” While on board this submarine, imagine military life during battle as you wander through the narrow corridors.

With a fully guided tour, explore the 5 decks of the USS Missouri, the last battleship built by the United States. As you stand on Surrender Deck, envision General Douglas MacArthur’s signing of the treaty that ended WWII.  Overlooking the massive guns of the “Mighty Mo,” you’ll have a spectacular view of the Arizona Memorial.

Located just outside of the “Mighty Mo,” you’ll find the USS Oklahoma Memorial, a tribute to the 429 men who lost their lives when the ship capsized in Battleship Row.

Navy Salutes US Flag

After experiencing the naval aspect of the war, we turn to the air. With the Ford Island control tower and two hangars full of historical aircraft, the Pacific Aviation Museum is considered one of the top 10 aviation attractions in the nation. The blue glass windows in the hangars on Luke Airfield are still riddled with the bullet holes from the Japanese attack.

After a full day at Pearl Harbor, relax on the air conditioned bus as it takes you to Punchbowl National Cemetery, a military cemetery built in the remnants of an extinct volcano. Leading up to the memorial are the Courts of the Missing where the names of the missing Americans from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War are inscribed. At the top of the staircase, a statue of Lady Columbia, looks over all those who have serviced the United States.

Iolani Palace

Before heading back to your hotel, you will see the Hawaii State Capitol Building and ‘Iolani Palace, the home of Hawaii’s Kings and Queens until 1893. You will also stop at the King Kamehameha Statue, a towering 18 foot tall bronze statue commissioned in honor of King Kamehameha I, a great warrior who united the Hawaiian Islands into one royal kingdom in 1810.

Remember our heroes and experience everything Pearl Harbor has to offer on the Pearl Harbor Memorial Tour. Round-trip transportation to your hotel, admission fees & live expert narration by our professional guides are all inclusive.

Know before you book:

  • We encourage visitors to not bring bags to Pearl Harbor. There is often a line to put your bag in storage and to retrieve it. Standing in this long line may prevent you from getting your tickets for the Arizona Memorial. That is a mistake that you do not want to make.
  • The fee for baggage storage at Pearl Harbor is $5.00.
  • Tour buses do not permit guests to leave bags in the vehicle.
